Revit Links (de)select import Catagories 'like Layers with DWG Link'

To dissable varies categories of a Linked Revit File for a complete project instead per View. 

for example:

when Link a Revit Project every view of the model is polluted with: Levels, Reference Planes, Scope Boxes, etc. Then For each view Template I have to dissable these categories. This is a lot of manual labour.

Please provide the option to set this in the 'Manage Links' tab!

Not only is a pain to do it manually, it also involves changing the view settings from Host View to Custom View.  Now all the OTHER categories are also no longer controlled by the host view.

I only want to see things like grids & levels etc from the host file not the linked files (although having the ABILITY to show them if choose to can also be useful too).  But I want to let the other settings be controlled by the host view.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.

Unfortunately, CAD users have and take too little time for improvements because they are busy with too many problems and unnecessary working techniques. This idea is great and was published very early on. Perhaps more users now see the need for it. I am one of them!
