Revit does not honor xclip reference file boundaries .

Revit does not honor xclip reference file boundaries .

When referencing a DWG Revit does not see nested xclipped boundaries as a result a select few dwg's can not be used easily.

It would be nice to have this work but until then my workaround with AutoCAD 2017 is to publish the drawing as a pdf then create a new file and import the pdf using the new importpdf command to create a usable dwg. This way you get all your colors and layers. While it does introduce a small error it's better than having to manually clip all those reference drawings (100's) every time the architect sends us an update.

It is remarkable that software from one company can not interact with each other.

Why ignore xclip settings when attaching tot Revit??

DWG Underlays are sometimes totally unusable as underlay by this.

Is there a quick fix?

Wow, this problem seems old, but there isn't still a GOOD work-arround for this??

@Arnout- Revit isn't an Autodesk Original, they bought this.
