Autodesk needs to archive builds and make accessible to users. Issue started when original release installs with updates applied as provided do not match build numbers of the latest install that includes past updates. Our clients dictate that we must be on specific builds. A good example is Revit 2018, with past updates 2018.2 released Oct 11-2017, 2018.3.1 released April 27-2018 and 2018.3.2 released Oct 18-2018 are no longer available on Autodesk Updates page. The latest release of Revit 2018 includes all previous updates, but the problem is the build number do not match. Since Revit is build specific when in workshare models different builds can cause corruption.
IF... I'm wrong and most of the user community, that different builds are not important then Autodesk needs to release a written statement explaining this is not an issue.
Another option would be to issue an update for established revit installs that would match the latest new Revit install so that all builds match..
