Revit - Ability to assign a keynote to multiple values

Revit's keynote file does not allow identical key values, but we typically want to see the same spec reference for multiple keynotes. For example '09 22 16' for both Metal Stud and Hanger Rod.  We are forced to add characters after the spec reference such as '.A00' and '.C06' that have virtually no meaning.  We need ability to have identical key values and this could perhaps be accomplished by using two parameters, and then the family should have ability to turn off the second part of this key so that it does not display on the drawing.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
