Revit 2023 Split vs Break command

Revit 2023 Split vs Break command

New in Revit 2023 when you demolition ductwork or piping, the systems stay connected. While this feature is nice to allow systems to be moved together and no information is lost that is attached to the objects, CFM and other tracked analytics get pushed through the system that are not necessarily wanted after items are demolished and you are not allowed to connect another duct or pipe since something is connected in a different phase. I think a break command should be added, different from the split command where a union is added. A break would divide the duct or pipe so they are no longer connected to each other. This would allow you to separate part of a system with a single command that you want to be demolished and all the demolished components can stay connected, but it would disconnect the selection from the rest of the system.
