Often times, users will go through a project and set a bunch of "by element" overrides. Then later, a more sophisticated user will apply view templates. Applying view templates in this scenario will not result in consistent view settings, because the "by element" overrides will remain. I think it would be wonderful if; upon applying a view template, the user is prompted to reset ALL "by element" overrides in the view. It would also be nice to just have a button to do this independently of working with view templates.
