Reference Other View in different plane

Reference Other View in different plane

Revit currently allows you to create a section and reference another view which can be a section, elevation or a call out created in a section or elevation.

It would be useful to be able to connect the reference view to a plan view as well.

It is only possible to do it in the view to be referenced to is a drafting view, but that's because drafting views are not really elevations, sections or plans, they are not connected to a plane in a model.

I think Call-outs in planviews and "Horizontal sections" (chose detail Views in the type selector while drawing a section in another section) are available, no ?

Can't test right now... sorry

Hi opesch_

(Section/elevs) Call-outs are only available if you are creating a section/elevation. The problem is that plans or call-outs from plans are not available if you are referring  to a section view.
