Reference an elevation in a section or elevation view?

Revit - Help - About Reference Elevations 
says "You can place a reference elevation in a plan or callout view." 

It does not anywhere explicitly say you cannot place a reference elevation in a section view or another elevation view but apparently you can't. 

Please make this available as an option.

If this cannot be made an option at least explicitly state so and explain why in Revit Help
