REBAR IMPROVEMENT - REBAR CRANK AND LAP SPLICE

Dear Developers,

Please consider to provide option to bend the rebar in plan especially at beam column joint and option for Lap splice in Area reinforcement. These are the 2 fundemntal requirements when considering the 3d modeling of the Rebar. But still there  is no straight forwared option in revit for this if my understanding is correct.

Also, we need the option to crank the bar in any direction, eg beam laps where the bar may need to rotate to avoid a clash. possibly something similar to the rotate hook option.

Rebar splicing, including using cranking, is on our public roadmap.  You can test the current state of our prototype using the Revit Preview version. This is the dedicated forum thread, where you will find the feature summary and you can share your feedback after testing it.
