Please add a Ramp Path similar to the Stair Path system family where we have the "Automatic Up/Down Direction" and "Fixed Up Direction" ramps should have the same graphic options that stairs do.
It seems like this may already be half baked currently in Revit because if you look at VG overrides there are Ramp Subcategories for "Down Arrow", "DOWN Text", "Up Arrow" and "UP Text" , but not stairs. Stairs have a separate annotation category for "Stair Paths" with the same subcategories for "Down Arrows", "DOWN Text", "Up Arrows", and "UP Text". It seems like the addition of a Ramp Path system family would allow those four subcategories to be moved to annotation for ramps?
Currently I don't see that changing the visibility of the UP Arrow or Down Arrow does anything....(no arrow shows no matter what is checked or not).
Looking at model subcategories of Ramps, we currently have:
Ramps Beyond Cut Line
Stringers
Stringers Beyond Cut Line
I don't see that any of these currently do anything....but they suggest that ramps could have a cut line like stairs? That would be great (as another idea suggests). It also suggests that ramps could be made up of components like stairs - with stringers! That would also be great!
To sum it up, I would like to see ramp system family improvements similar to how stairs have been improved over the years.
