Publish/Aquire Coordinaates form Linked Files by Stored coordinates in Attribs in the file header

I know this may be difficult Autodesk and the way its been explained to me is:

That for and Active Revit Host File editing session to Aquire Coordinates from a Linked Revit Cloud Based Model is for that model to be briefly "Opened" However given that its a Cloud Model and would have to be

1. unloaded
2. opened
3. coordinates Acquired to a file
4. the Linked file Closed
5. the linked file Reloaded
6. The TEMP Coordinates file opened and read and made available,
7. And something may get lost or its just not scriptable dancing between files and apps etc.

However perhaps Autodesk can examine looking at this a different way.

Could the Revit File Type Not write this to somewhere in the Main file Header - External to the actual data - where information like

• File name
• Date Edited
• File Size

Would it not be easy to Publish the Site Locations to a file Attribute there ALSO - this could be subsequently acquired without "Editing the file".
