Provide option to inverse ALL colors in Dark Mode

Provide option to inverse ALL colors in Dark Mode

Like a lot of the new features/improvements in R24, dark mode is fantastic. But there are a few smaller issues to resolve within it now.

One of those issues is that not all colors are inverted in dark mode. Black and white are, but as soon as you adjust to 254, 254, 254, or 1,1,1, the colors don't invert. Some folks might be fine with this, but it causes a few issues for us. The primary one being that we stripe every other row in schedules with a very light gray. When switched to dark mode, the text in schedules inverts to white, so we are stuck with white text on very light gray every other line, which is illegible.

Rather forcing all colors to invert in dark mode, I suggest adding a checkbox Under Options->Colors to give users the option as to whether or not they want this.

Agreed this is definitely an issue as we do the same thing and the white text on the very light grey is impossible to read.

It should be stated though that this should only be a visual graphics change and not actually change the colour when printing.

Another thing that would be nice would be to have dark mode for sheets separate from dark mode for views & schedules the same way that AutoCAD has paper space and model space colours separate.

Agreed, beyond just schedules though, we use color for most of our annotative items as to intentionally contrast with the black & white 3D elements - so dimensions, tags, gridlines, etc. We have an employee that uses dark mode to assist with visual impairment accessibility, and the need to invert all colors in Revit (without inverting her entire computer) would be incredibly beneficial.
