Provide a schedule filter for "only tagged items"

Provide a schedule filter for "only tagged items"

I would like to see schedules with a filter option that will only schedule tagged objects on the current sheet and filter out any objects not tagged. This would work in conjunction with the new "filter by sheet option" recently introduced in schedules.

The purpose is to schedule only what's relevant on the sheet, eg only schedule tagged items so we don't get information overload!

Two great examples for this use :

  • Multi-Category Schedules
  • Material Schedules

The idea would work like note blocks & keynotes but will have the advantage of BIM over note blocks and be much easier to use than keynotes.

Agreed. “Filter by tagged” is the last piece needed to make multi-category schedules hugely useful.

100% needed. Would use on every project.

Definitely needed 100%, the lack of this feature creates a lot more work than is really required as multiple schedules need to be created where the "Filter by sheet" option could otherwise be used.

For instance columns on a level below that are already tagged in another view on another sheet may appear "below" a floor slab in a view on another sheet. As these are already tagged for their associated level/view you may not want to tag them in this other view but they will still appear in the schedule.

@neil.burrowsVPZ5K Thank you, that's a very good example to justify the need.
