Properties Palette search

I would like to see a search bar on the Properties Palette, similar to the one added to the Project Browser in 2024/2025. It should simply filter the parameters by the parameter name. Sometimes it takes me a few minutes scrolling to find a new parameter, and even on standard parameters like Workset it will take me maybe 20 seconds because I keep scrolling past and missing it. If I could just type "work" into a simple text box and have it show up that would be awesome. Our mechanical families can get pretty complicated and have a lot of parameters, and I imagine that is the same for other disciplines too.

Having programmed add-ins for my company, this should be a pretty simple UI modification.

This would be fantastic. With the increasing number of parameters being used for each family the list is getting long and in many different categories. I would find this very useful.

Imagine how you could show nothing but your company parameters. Once this takes off, the search string should be linked to a global parameter.

I really think this would be a great quick add-on that wouldn't impact other add-ons users would have in their setups either.  Looks super useful.

When editing a family, the Family Types window containing all the parameters already has this functionality. However, it searches through all fields, including any equations, as is a bit slow. This one should just be linked to the parameter name string.

@ggetts5RNN9  the property pallet does has a search functionality but only for family name/types.
Are you referring to when you edit the family type, i'm sure that would be really useful.

Also what would be really useful is a search bar for linetypes. Has this idea been put forward yet, logically I would have thought that this would have been introduced by now?

If you take a look at the Revit Properties Palette Search.png attached to the original post, I think you will see what I mean. I am not referring to when editing the family type (for clarity, in the window that opens when you click the "Edit Type" button), although a search bar that filters out the parameters there could be useful too.

I am referring to in the main Properties Palette docking window where you see all of the Instance Parameters for whatever you have selected. Similar to the search bar they added on the Project Browser.
