predefined selections of worksets

predefined selections of worksets

When working in models with large number of Worksets , it would be so helpful if I can have the option to save varies predefined selections of Worksets to be listed in the “Specify” window to choose from rather than manual selection each time I need to open the project with different Worksets settings.

This would be very useful. We have many teams on the project focusing on different systems, so many of us need different sets of loaded Worksets. Every morning when I load the project, I need to manually select 7-8 worksets for one area of the building, then select 4 of 30 worksets containing linked models. It would be nice if you could choose to make the predefined selections public or private as well.

Perhaps the easiest way to implement this as a sort of half-measure would be some buttons in the Worksets dialog that let you choose when specifying if you want to select "All", select "Last Viewed", or select "Last Viewed by User". However that isn't quite as useful because there are times when I load the model with all Worksets off to look at the schedules. In those situations my "Last Viewed by User" would be empty, and I'd have lost my previous selections.
