Plan Views Button Should Include Hidden Levels

Plan Views Button Should Include Hidden Levels

There have been many times where a project that I am working in has levels that have been deleted in some views and their plans have been deleted, but the actual level still exists deep in Revit. I notice them when I want to assign an element to a level and they appear in a drop down menu. Even when going to the view tab and clicking "Plan View" to create a new view, these views do not show up. They are like ghosts. The only way to force them to show up so I can delete them permanently from the project is to make a floor schedule and select them that way. It would make perfect sense to just include these levels (that don't have any views open) in the "Plan View" tool. Would have a more organized project.

I have never had this happen before and I have deleted levels before.  Albeit not often.  This sounds more like a bug than a Revit idea.  If a level is deleted, it should be removed from the project entirely.  I'd suggest if you have a project this has happened with or is currently happening with, I'd suggest putting in a trouble ticket.  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support
