Phase Filters Should Control Visibility of Linked Models

Phase Filters Should Control Visibility of Linked Models

Once Phases are mapped from linked models to the main model, the main model Phase Filters should control visibility in ALL linked models.

Currently, this only works if there are identical Phase Filters in the linked models. This means you have to open EACH linked model and create/edit the custom Phase Filter using the exact same name and settings in order for the correct visibility to be shown in the main model.

For instance, even if I just change the New Graphic Override visibility to a blue solid pattern, only new elements in the main model will appear blue, while new elements in the linked models still show as green. I would then have to edit this Graphic Override in EACH linked model to have consistent visibility in the main model.

This is critical when working with multiple consultants with their own standards.  The host model phase filters should override any within the linked models.  The workflow of having to transfer phase filters between projects is painful and time consuming, and not all consultants will use the same phase filters as those of the host model.
