option to turn off a views reference-ability

option to turn off a views reference-ability

It would be nice to see a checkbox in the views property that turns "off" its reference capability. Our view titles have the field which references where the view came from, so that you can trace back through the drawing set where this view originated. Example:  1/A150 plan detail's view title says "A100", because it is tracing its parent view back to the A100 plan view (sheet).

But sometimes, there is crosstalk between views, and in our case, the reference is incorrect. We have an overall floor plan that is referencing a stair details sheet. The only way to fix it is to delete the views from the stair sheet. But, if we could simply switch off the reference, or control it better, the function of referencing other sheets would be streamlined.

thanks
