Open Option - worksets with 'specify'

Open Option - worksets with 'specify'

Hi Everyone,

When opening workshared files containing structured worksets, whereby I want to 'Specify' which works sets to open when I open the file. It would be terrific if the workset palette would open directly when I select 'Specify...' rather than then dropping back to the 'Open' button.

It a small thing but frustrating to select the down arrow to get options, select the option e.g. 'Specify...' then select 'Open'

What I would like is to chose the option and that option opens immediately.

What does everyone think?

You can "Specify" this workflow when the Central file is saved.

This is something you need to work out with whoever is creating the Central files for your company.

Thanks, yes you are right, however when this has not been selected, you need to do the double take.

While we do create our in-house files with the option you suggest, we deal with files from 3rd parties, not all have the same maturity and processes.

The idea posted is simple and less clicks is always more!

How is this done if the model is in BIM 360?
I don't see the option anywhere?
