I was trying to set up a shear plate connection in Revit 2020 and the problem I faced was: I needed to offset column stiffeners from both flanges of the shear plate. The top of the plate was supposed to be flashed with the top of the beam and the bottom one was supposed to be offset by 70 mm.
Depending on what I chose "Flange bottom/top and..." I could offset one or another.. but never both. So at the and I had to break it and create a custom connection. I don't think that would be a difficult change but it is a really helpful one!
