As the title describes,
we are in desperate need for a solution to schedule the main family and all of it's components in one simple schedule

My example would be this custom family:

Here, we have a Generic Model,
with 10 nested families in two categories (3+7),
The 3 of one category have also nested families inside of them, (5 elements per main family).
So in total, we have 23 (26) elements in this family.
The hierarchy in this example looks like this:
Main Family <Generic Model> | |
| Family 1 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 1 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 2 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 2 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 3 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 4 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 5 <Structural Framing> | |
| Family 5<Structural Framing> | |
| Family 6 <Site> <Type 1> | |
| | Family 7 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 1> |
| | Family 8 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 1> |
| | Family 9 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 1> |
| | Family 10 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 1> |
| | Family 11 <Entourage> |
| Family 6 <Site> <Type 2> | |
| | Family 7 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 1> |
| | Family 8 <Speciality Equipment><Type 1> |
| | Family 9 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 2> |
| | Family 10 <Speciality Equipment> <Type 2> |
