Modeling Reference Lines??

Modeling Reference Lines??

I need to place some framework lines to my model, in order to align elements to a skeletal base and stay accurate..

those should not be printed, just for me to stay in control..visible in all plans..

Thanks!

Use reference planes (Architecture > Work Plane > Ref Plane), which are visible in all views, and set them not to plot, as shown below. By definition, these are planes, so curved reference lines will need to be something else.

Thanks @bill_gilliss !!

I am new to this, below you can see how I used those lines..

I hope I got it right, I am still unsure whether i used them right..

I am also not sure where are those located in the z direction, could not see them in the 3D view..

Exactly! Also, when you know they are in the right location, pin them to prevent accidentally moving them.

And name them.

If a Reference Plane has a name, you can select it in the "Set Work Plane" dialog
