to modify single line style by model, creating a global override for all the project views, the same as the standard tool "Linework" but, instead of overriding for the actual view, creating a global override for all the project views.

But then, what would happen to element / category / filter overrides made by view?
this Model Linework tool should have four levels:
- Soft linework override
- Linework over category overrides
- Linework over filter overrides
- Linework over element overrides

This would be great. I often find when two walls of different core materials are aligned to their exterior finishes, there are still lines that appear in between. I then have to chase out the lines in every view. It would be nice to have the linework tool behave in a way that acts globally, like you suggest.
