Model Categories for Plumbing and Fire Protection Equipment

Addition of model categories for Plumbing and Fire Protection Equipment similar to Mechanical and Electrical. Would certainly increase efficiency.

Model categories for both Plumbing and Fire Protection already exist in Revit. Are you looking for more specific categories, and if so, what would they be?

Sorry I should have been more specific - Model. Categories for Plumbing Mechanical Equipment and Fire Protection Mechanical Equipment.

What version are these available in if they are?

There is a Plumbing Equipment category available in Revit 2023. There is not a FP Mechanical Equipment category available.

You're welcome! I did see your Idea to add FP as a discipline (obviously different from a model category). I will pass your feedback to the team. I can't make any promises, but you can keep an eye on the Revit Public Roadmap for any development progress.

More important: can Fire Protection (and any other category you create) by able to copy -monitor? That is major important because we need to coordinate the position of our safety equipments with what ARQ decides to do and vice-versa! And there is too many equipments to do it at a glace... Can you implement that ASAP? Thank you!
