Make the prompt "Automatically create area boundary lines associated with all external walls?" apply to all views you're creating.

Make the prompt "Automatically create area boundary lines associated with all external walls?" apply to all views you're creating.

How to recreate issue:

  • create 55 levels
  • go to View > Plan Views > Area Plans, then select your 55 new levels
  • roll your eyes as you have to click through 55 of these prompts

Why is Revit making me click 55 times to answer this question for each of the views on 55 Levels that I'm making? I don't even know which view I'm on halfway through so if I wanted to in fact answer "Yes" to one of these views I need to keep manual count?

The answer to this prompt should apply to all views.

This should be a fairly easy idea to implement. Thanks.

Yes, please implement this.  It is endlessly frustrating to have to click each individually.  I typically don't apply these automatically because Revit makes some odd choices with placement.  Can we have a default setting of "yes" / "no" / "choose for each view"?
