After putting a slice on a duct or pipe and then removing it before Revit 2020, the duct will reconnect with eachother. If you wanted to separate these, you just had to place two slices and remove the middle part. We used this alot as when modeling, the duct would recalculate. Some of our families would then break or go back to it's standard size, but if you add a slice this wouldn't happen. After Revit 2020; what happens now is that when you make one slice, the duct will separate. There is no option to disable this. It makes it more difficult to avoid breaking or resizing our already drawn parts. As when you reconnect the ducts, it will recalculate the duct, break some families or force families to their original size.
Is it possible to add an option so that when you slice, it separates the duct or that it will reconnect after removing it?
