Make F1 key NOT reserved

Please make F1 key NOT reserved.   No, I did not want a help web page, as you darn well know, I meant to hit Esc.   This was such an issue in AutoCad that Autodesk released tutorials on how to fix it.   What sadistic individual decided to lock it in concrete in Revit?   At least let me turn the darn thing off.

I can't believe there isn't more support for this. It's ridiculous. I got a new corporate laptop and the F1 key is literally ac close to the esc key as any of the other keys are to each other and it's very frustrating to open up three tabs of freaking help when I meant to hit escape a few times. Like you said, at least let us disable it.

I, too, would like to unassign F1 from the "Help" command.

I'm a pretty good typist and I work in Revit with my keyboard hidden from view. I hit the F1 KEY either when trying to hit ESC to close a tool or F2 to deploy rename. I worry about that F1 bogeyman every time I aim for these keys that get hit a million times a day, and when I actually need help I go to my browser, not F1. Never F1. I could use F1 for something helpful if Revit didn't lock it down for this.

Free the F1 KEY.
