I'd like to be able to lock a 3d view orientation from the properties palette, not just from the bar at the bottom of the screen.
I'd consider it a bug that this property is read only in the palette. I just wasted 5 minutes looking for which thing I had to have selected in order to get the item in the properties palette to become active, only to find out that it wasn't going to happen that way.
