Linework overwrite for loadable Detail Item families.

Sometimes we don't want to overwrite the entire element, nor creating a new or sophisticated family to manipulate the Line Styles of a few lines.
It's a very common "issue" when we are making details.
Example: a Detail Item of a metal fixationbracket can be placed on a walldetail with or without thermal insulation, but can also be placed partialy into the insulation. I the last case we want to be able to overwrite the hidden part with Linework to hidenlines.
I've really been wanting this for a while now. We recently created several detail components for things we were previously drawing with detail lines every time and it's been a great time-saver, but as soon as we need to change the line styles (e.g., to an Overhead or Hidden Lines style), or just override a single line's style, we need to draw it all with detail lines instead. If we can use the Linework tool to override line styles on 3D components, why not for detail components??
