Lineweight for hatch/fill patterns

Lineweight for hatch/fill patterns

Tried to find it it (1)Viz/Graphics Overrides,(2)Additional Settings(Offers a fill pattern window for drafting and model  patterns) and (3)Materials which seemed the logical places to look, but couldn't find it in any of these places. If a setting does exist somewhere to control hatch/fill patterns lineweight please advise.

All of you saying the linge weight is manageable in filled regions is still too limited. Hatches should be able to have customisable lineweights, and diferences between lines WITHIN the same pattern. Also hatches should allow for "regions" within the hatch for various colorings or paterns within a pattern...

Revit uses the same line weight for hatches, which is often too heavy, and there is no option to control it. It would be a huge improvement for graphic standards if we could be able to control the hatch lineweights.

Include the parameter of line width on the patterns, just aswell as the "projection/surface -> lines" has.

"The most logical place is have the settings in the material as per my ms paint doctored image below.

This would allow you  to have different patterns with different weights if you chose.

If no pattern assign the box will be blank

If solid pattern assigned then box is greyed out"

@wr.marshall, @kimberly_fuhrman-jones Your suggestion to control it globally via the material interface makes the most sense.

This will allow the user to control all hatch patterns of a specific material globally across all views instead of having to override them in each individual view or control it with a filter assigned to a view.

Perhaps just leave the box greyed out in both cases above.

If no patter assigned, the box is greyed out.

If solid patter assigned, the box is also greyed out.
