Levels and Grids - Ability to flip start/end after creation

Levels and Grids - Ability to flip start/end after creation

Title says it all. Would be great, so many newbies or pros early in a project when orientation is not known place these, and later wish the default grid or level head end was inverted.

Would you care to explain more? -Is that related to API or Dynamo manipulation of the grids and Levels?

I've tried to mirror-without-copy a level after a number of objects were referencing it (masses, walls, etc.) And the relationship would break. If there was a way to separate the geometry of the plane and the default edge/side for a tag this would likely solve this, both for levels and grids.

Sorry I am still confused  - please explain why would you be mirroring/flipping  grids or levels especially if they stay on the same plane as before?

(The only reason I could think of is if you are coming from Autocad and want to flip the bubble?)

Yes, correct.  The ability to change the DEFAULT side the level tag or grid head shows up in for new views and/or existing views.  I know you can manually check/uncheck which side the tags show up on, but changing the default globally would save a lot of time.  Also, selecting multiple grids or levels in a view and being able to check a start/end perameter for level tag / grid head visibility.

I see - sorry for the confusion - you can also vote  for this similar idea here http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/hide-multiple-selected-grid-or-level-bubbles-with-a-click/...

Does creating another type of grid or level wouldn't solve this?
