The problem:
I often encounter situations where I must jump back and forth between different Revit categories while tagging/annotating. For example, as a company standard, we tend to tag electrical equipment without a leader line, but we tag electrical fixtures with a leader line. My workflow often requires that I jump between tagging electrical equipment and electrical/lighting fixtures with some significant frequency.
The best solution I can think of:
The checkbox in the options menu/bar (for whether we would like a leader on the tag or not) should operate differently. At the moment, it pays no attention to what revit category you are tagging. It does remember it's previous state (yes/no), but this state memory is not category specific. If I could jump back and forth between different categories and revit remembers that I like leaders for fixtures, but not for equipment... that would be the most optimal operation of this checkbox.
