In AutoCAD, there are functions for multiline text such as "Text Frame" and "Text Background". The "Text Background" function makes everything within the frame opaque (see Attachment 1). This is great for text annotations, as it gives a very professional appearance.
Revit also has the "Show Border" function, but in this case, only the text itself becomes opaque—not the frame (see Attachment 2). This looks rather unintentional, which is why I always take the extra step to place a masking region behind all text (see Attachments 3). I have already brought this to the attention of support.
Unfortunately, there is currently no alternative way to achieve this. I kindly request that Revit implements the same functionality as AutoCAD.
