Integrate Enscape-level functionality into native Revit

Integrate Enscape-level functionality into native Revit

Enscape-level real-time rendering and navigation is far superior to Revit visualization.  For the amount that customers are paying for Revit subscription, a comparable level 3-D working environment should come with the software and not require an additional 3rd party plug-in to make the product functional.   The holy grail would be an edit-able native Revit 3-D environment with visualization similar to Enscape's feature.  That would be a monumental leap in functionality for Architects and designers.

What's New in Autodesk Revit 2023.1

What has been implemented in Revit 2023.1 is Twinmotion, which is a separate modelling and rendering engine OUTSIDE of the Revit working environment. As a user, I can say this is not very functional as the two modelling environments are quite different. It also means that changes to the revit model have to be separately edited in the Twinmotion model, making co-ordination very complex and time consuming. This is nothing like Enscape.

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones Maybe could state how you think this idea is implemented? Yes there is some twinmotion integration now (as stated by @Soulspace1) which was hitherto an addin, but do tennant's now also get twinmotion access included in the rent?

I fully agree with Matt that for what we are paying in software rent, we should have an integrated visualisation tool inside of Revit. Twinmotion is not integrated in revit, there is just a file exchange environment between them. Autodesk has cinematic visualisation applications, how hard is it to use this expertise for Revit?
