IEC standard wiring

IEC standard wiring

REVIT does voltage drop calculations but we couldn't use it due to two issues, the somehow not accurate circuit length which was solved by the adjustable length feature in 2018, but REVIT still uses American wire gauge wires which is not usable to anyone following IEC standard, so adding IEC standard wiring would be beneficial

AWG sizing is replaced with IEC mm² sizes if you use the correct localised version.
The UK version of Revit uses BS7671 sizing (which uses IEC sizes).

Actually, according to the below link, AWG is hardcoded in REVIT, so whenever you are using other sizes, the voltage drop is not calculated.

Interesting, well, that sucks.

Hopefully, others will notice and vote for the idea so that Autodesk considers it
