A huge workflow improvement would be to change how new profile types are defined, or even profiles themselves loaded in, when working with profile-dependent families like wall sweeps, slab edges, etc. Some of it has already been implemented in things like railings, which basically uses a "sweep" for top and handrail types. Edit a railing type, and then click on the Top Rail Type, and another Edit Type window opens for that top rail type. There, one can duplicate and make other types as needed. However, when working with sweeps like wall sweeps and slab edges, if I create a new type, but the profile type is not there, then I have to cancel out of everything, go down to the Family browser, find the profile type, edit and make a new profile type, then go back and start the sweep again so I can then duplicate and make a new sweep type with the new profile type I just made. It can be incredibly cumbersome and time consuming. A better method would be to have the Profile field in the sweep's Type Properties have a button on the right end to open that profile's Type Properties. Then I could go ahead and duplicate and define other sweeps as needed, without having to cancel out of the Sweep creation tools.
