Floor Automatic Sketch

Floor Automatic Sketch

Having an Automatic Sketch tool for Floors just like the one for Ceilings would be really handy when creating Finish Floors.

You're not putting in a different physical floor for each room, are you? Gah!!! ONE structural floor, multiple Split Faces painted as need be to indicate materials.

This Idea is for FINISH Floors, not Structural floors.

And, yes separate Floors in each Room.

Lots of problems with Split Faces (although an automatic boundary for those would be cool)

Make the floor geometry build up from the associated level instead of down.

When Revit 2025 was released i was glad to read that you are now able to auto select boundaries for floors, like you can for ceilings. Sadly after the Installation the Button to auto create a floor was missing. After writing to the Revit Support Team i was informed that the Button was not missing, but the function was not yet implemented in Revit.

So please implement this function, like it is described in the help articel. It would be very useful!Screenshot 2025-01-08 110016.jpg
