Future-phased elements “should not interfere” with existing elements, when viewing them in a previous phase.
This includes the following objects;
- Opening tools such as shafts, vertical and wall openings etc
- Toposolid Excavator Tool
- Hosted families that cut their hosts
- Literally, any object cutting another.
- Wall joins of new walls should not interfere with existing wall joins.
Note: There is already a similar post regarding the phasing of wall openings and other users have mentioned issues with opening tools and that there is no way that we can phase them, However the above idea is a broader idea and relates to phasing interference in general.
