Fix crap that doesn't work

Fix crap that doesn't work

There is no way to even leave feedback on the Revit product, even though every other product is on the list. Following the links brings me to here. I have two very frustrating things to give feedback on that need fixed and two suggestions.

The materials browser loads too slow. This has been complained about for years. I have the most powerful workstation Dell sells as of right now, hoping this would load faster and it makes no difference. It's a waste of time and I hate it. Please make changing materials faster.

When a model is mirrored using the command for the entire project in the Manage tab / position tool, the fascia gets jacked up. I draw houses, and the roofs all have 1x2 or 1x4 trim that is applied using the fascia tool in the roof command. When a model is mirrored, it erases random ones, extends others, and generally glitches.

Suggestion #1: make a tool in the roof command to create bird boxes, roof returns, etc.

Suggestion #2 It's a ridiculous waste of time to go around joining geometry for all the fascia and hardie corner boards and bird boxes and other trim details, roofs, roofs to walls, the list goes on. Just make things joined as the default. Who is drawing models going, yeah I like not having lines for half the things that touch each other, let's make people spend fifteen minutes clicking four hundred tiny objects to join so lines get drawn in a sensible way in every predictable location.

@imaginationplans ,

Thank you for your specific Revit Ideas. There are several ways to give feedback directly to our product teams besides the Revit Ideas (which is intended to be used for Ideas to improve the software). We also invite you to join our Revit Preview Release, where you will have early access to beta software, test features in development and give feedback directly to our product teams. Same goes for our Revit Public Roadmap, where you can also add feedback on features and enhancements that are on deck for development. The Revit Community forum is a great place to find information, and our support teams are also monitoring there for issues or bugs. And our Autodesk Research Community is always looking for folks who can give honest, constructive feedback on specific research projects related to Revit.

Again, thank you for your Revit Ideas.
