In our projects, we frequently utilize color filters to visualize variations in type or instance parameters across different objects. This necessitates creating a separate filter for each object, a time-consuming task. However, with the assistance of an add-in, it becomes easier to generate various filters. Consequently, we end up with numerous filters serving the same function but differentiated by color and associated with different object types.
The challenge arises when incorporating these color filters into various view templates. Currently, one must either duplicate a view template containing the desired filters or manually add each filter anew.
The proposed solution is to implement a grouping function for filters, akin to the shared parameter menu. This would streamline the process of sharing multiple filters with colleagues and across different projects.
Here is an example of how view templates appear with such filters. It would be great to be able to group them and have the option to import and export these groups.
