Filled Regions & Model Filled Regions

Filled Regions & Model Filled Regions

Hi,

We have been using Filled Regions for our structural loading plans.  It would be a great function if there was an option to have Model Filled Regions which can either be added independently or converted from existing filled regions (Detail). Similar to what is available for Detail Lines & Model Lines.  We often have to issue our models now, with the current method the information is lost.  With model filled regions the information would be retained.  They would work the same but just be visible in all views and could be controllable either by workset, in visibility/graphics or by filter.

Thanks. Dan

We often create filled regions to show the Architect where we want the technical areas to be. The filled regions can ofte stretch through more rooms and walls.  It would be greate if we could see these in 3D oder convert them to 3D.

Can't believe this only has two votes. We use filled regions to make up for some of Revit's deficiencies and it's incredibly tedious to copy the same filled region over and over. For instance, we use the color fill legend for our floor pattern plans and since Revit does not have an "edit room boundary" feature, the filled region tool can be used when you have to refine the boundaries of a flooring material after the room has already been created. The fact that filled regions mask everything beneath them means that you have to spend extra time tracing around everything.
