Quiere decir:

Fill the area under the pad to match surrounding topography cut pattern.

Fill the area under the pad to match surrounding topography cut pattern.

In plan view, if there is a pad above the view range cut line, there is always a blank hole where the pad is. Since this is just the cut earth why not show the fill as is the case in section view?

I have had to make the pads (I realise people hate pads but I find them useful if there are a lot of changes in the initial stages) metres thick and apply the same cut fill as the surrounding topography to get around this. This doesn't make sense in reality as shouldn't the pad be only as thick as the substrates under the building?

Please, no more blank holes!!

I can't find anything anywhere that says this has a workaround. I have been told that Revit 2020 has the fix but the project I am working on was started in Revit 2019.

I still have the same problem in 2020. See attached....screenshot.jpg

What is strange is that it is visible in section.....

this issue is still the same in revit 2022. I have read so many complaints however Autodesk just replies that we must use a filled region or make a thick pad. None of which is near to any form of a proper solution. This is a waste of a professionals time. If you lower your levels you have to redo all of the filled regions and furthermore you cant draw a region in a 3d section plan.

it's 2024 and Autodesk hasn't solved this very simple  problem!
