It would be great to be able to have the Visibility of a Family regarding the View Range in Plan Views be the same as the View it is shown in by default, and that there would be an optional alternative to have the Family be displayed by the View Range set in the Family Editor.
The latter is now the default result, and often not the best result. It seems quite strange to me that a Family (like Windows/Doors) is always shown at the Cut Plane defined in the Ref. Level of a Family, which means the result is not displaying a Family at an accurate level in the project Views...
