External parameters for PARAMETRIC LINKS

What if we could link a model but, instead as having it as a static object, we could give it some parametric adjustments to it? This would break the current limits, allowing to use links as if were families, when we need to work with complex units, made of various categories, including system families.

 

Yes I know we can use groups or assemblies, but now I'm talking about a different level of complexity, a more robust tool to avoid those "group fixes" or "new assembly duplicates" that are currently blocking our projects possibilities.

 

The idea is to manage some global parameters without openig the file, allowing to have some instances of the same linked file flexing its shape
