Exported & Printed File Naming Consistency

Exported & Printed File Naming Consistency

In the grand scheme of things this isn't major but I'd love it if exports & prints followed the same naming structure, especially when it comes to the user name that is added in to file names.

DWG Exports: RVTFileName-chad@email-com-Sheet-Name

Images in Exported DWG: RVTFileName-chad@email-Sheet-Name

PDF: RVTFileName-chad@email.com-Sheet-name

Spacing within the exported files is also different (see attached image)

I can (and do) use BulkRenameUtility to rename everything but with the current configuration I have to run it multiple times which adds up after a while.

I would love to be able to change/edit the default naming convention of files:

[FileName]" - "[ViewType]" - "[ViewName].[file format]

in a way that we could remove [FileName] and [ViewType], if we wanted (it is not useful at all for me, just increases the file name), and edit the text in between the "".

Something like we can do in 3d Max, for saving files with especific info.

Other parameters could then be retreaved, just like it is asked in https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/naming-files-via-parameters/idi-p/6819486

This should be possible for dwg/jpg/pdf/dxf file tipes all the same.

Chad says (and I can agree) that this is not one of the most important feactures, but I have to say it would really save some time (and we don't have more than 15 bulk exports at a time)
