Export Section Box/Window to Revit

Hello,

We have a need to export the contents of a Scope Box/Window to a RVT file. This extents to the need to export out linked file contents also, much like exporting a Navisworks file.

The need revolves around needing to supply fit out Architects on information they need to see (company and Client requirement) in Revit. To do this manually on the project could take 2-3 days due to its size and complexity.

Have you tried putting the 3D view with the scope box on a sheet and doing a right-click 'Save to New File'? 

It purges heavily which can be a pro or a con, and wont trim your floors, but can get you part way there.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
