Element Category Color Scheme

Element Category Color Scheme

It would be awesome if you could make a color scheme for every element category.

Being a structural engineer, it happens all the time to use filters that change colors only to highlight some properties. Here are some examples:

-rebar types, diameters

-framing, columns sections

-bracing sections

-floor thicknesses

The color legend is very usefull and would be nice to have it.

Agree.  Having access to element based color schemes would be super helpful.  We constantly want to be able to check wall types, door types, etc.  As stated above, the only way now is to create filters for each type mark.  Very time consuming.

Yes,

the Schemes should definitely expand to all categories available in the model. Now we can only use Areas, Room, Ducts, Pipes, Zones and Spaces.

We need that list to expand to all categories, and possibly have access to all parameters for that category.

It would be similar to filters, but a scheme can "read" the values available in the model and perform graphic overrides by range, or by value.... I think it would be powerful.
