Edit split line *slopes* when shape editing toposolids (& roofs, floors ect).

I think it would be beneficial to be able to edit the slope of a split line within a shape edited element (in addition to editing it's elevation as we can currently).

I'd picture a feature like this involving two listening dimensions at either end of the split line when selected expressing the slope away from that point. See crude simulation below:

You could click one of these, change the slope to 1:100 and that vertex would raise up accordingly.

I currently achieve this with generic annotations in plan but involves a lot of copying values backwards and forwards. Would love to just be able to do it like this instead.

I actually do this using a auxiliary 2D line in a section with the desired slope and just drag the floor end or top line up or down until it finds the auxiliary line. It's pretty simple, no guessing or back and forward involved. Only a lot of auxiliary sections and 2d lines.

If your slope is diagonally this trick still works, you just have to edit each point individually.

Still, I would welcome if all this process could be made even faster and with less clutter.

well said Martin, This would be a hugely beneficial enhancement to shape editing in Revit, especially for Toposolids, roofs, and floors. Being able to edit the slope of a split line directly, rather than only its absolute elevation
