Draw Order of Linked Files - Annotations

Draw Order of Linked Files - Annotations

how come is it possible that user cannot control the visibility of the Tags from attached model (in grey color) in the meaning : "what is below and what is on top" ?  (even i have attached model as an "underlay")

design for sheets in final state looks very messy though

We are working with different models which are linked one in each other. The order, in which the models are linked, is crucial for what is displayed and what is hidden.

We would love to have the possibility to change the order of the linked models without deleting any of them, because this would break our projects.

Just encountered this problem and found a tread in AUGI site that totally explains the problem and the bug. This is unaceptable...

I keep encountering bugs to fix and posting them here. Autodeks should start to focos on fixing known problems before trying to creat new features that can bring new ones... No?

I found a potential solution to your issue. Revit follows the 3D order of objects. Instead of bringing lines to front, they might actually be lower along the Z axis. So if you move them over by moving them up in the z-axis, I think that would address your issue.

It appears you are on the Plumbing design team, and that the grey annotations are Room Tags located in the Architectural model - is that correct?  If it is, then you might want to shut off those Room Tags in the Arch link, and add your own, in the Plumbing model.

This way, you activate Leaders on your Room Tags, then pull them out of the Rooms, so they are not interfering with your Fixture Tags.  You can even make your Room Tags half-tone.

Best of luck
