Disable holes in "Area reinforcement"

Disable holes in "Area reinforcement"

"Area reinforcement" automatically cuts openings in the rebars, if there is opening in the construction, it's great feature.

But often it is necessary to make a hole without cutting out the reinforcement (for example, at the phase of "reconstruction" - new holes are made in the overlap). Revit cuts a hole rebar anyway:

Perhaps you need to add the "Cut internal holes" parameter to the object properties:

We have to solve the problem by creating a "virtual" slab and installing the reinforcement in it. Fear and shame!

I really support this one! Not only holes, but all face based families (e.g. steel embeds) attached to the rebar hosts surface, will create a hole in the rebar mesh.

any update on this one? Trying to place a lift insert on a panel face however, a hole is cut in the rebar when it is placed.

If I model the rebar without using area reinforcement there is no hole but this dramatically slows down the work flow.
